Field trip

PHOTO SHOOT: This Saturday you are invited to join the club photo shoot at Paynes Prairie SP. Enter the park at the south entrance off US 441 and get a map, then drive north about 2 miles to the campground turnoff. Drive past the campground to the parking lot on the lake. Park on the north end of the lot. The park opens at 8 AM and Fred and I will try to be there. Perhaps you can photograph some fall color, birds and aquatic animals. See you there.

Our Club President, Phillipe Olivier, will lead a photo shoot at Dudley Farm State Historic Park on the first Saturday morning following the next Gainesville Photo Club meeting. Phil will be available to help or advise photographers requesting assistance. Please come out to this very interesting location offering lots of photo opportunities and make this first President's shoot a great success. Join us for a morning of flower photography and lunch at ???? Bring your macro lens, etc. Many lenses have a macro setting. Many 'prosumer' cameras also do macro shots beautifully.
