Club Meeting

The third Monday of each month Gainesville Photography Club meets at the Civitan Regional Blood Center at 7 PM. Guests are welcome at our meetings and can bring a few of their best photos on a flash drive. We meet on the second floor in the NE corner of the building. December is our End-of-Year meeting which is a bit different than usual.

Members are allowed to show up to eight images, 3 in assigned theme, 3 general, and 2 black and white. There is no judging, but if asked, we will provide a friendly critique of your work.

Members are allowed to show up to eight images, 3 in assigned theme, 3 general, and 2 black and white. There is no judging, but if asked, we will provide a friendly critique of your work.

For August only, the Gainesville Photography Club will NOT meet at the Civitan Regional Blood Center. We will have a potluck dinner (more on this below), short business meeting, a photo presentation by Peggy Goldberg entitled "The People and Diving in the Solomon Islands on the Bilikiki", and then show member's photos. The theme for August is "Reflections". You can also submit photos under the "General" theme. Members can also do a slideshow at any meeting up to 6 minutes long.

There will be a short business meeting followed by a Photoshop program presented by our own resident artist JM Mott (http://www.jmmott.com/). We will also have a very short demo on resizing your pictures for display on our web site and projection at club meetings. The assigned topic for this month is "Autos".
