Random Photos from 2008
This is a random selection of photos shown in the Gainesville Photography Club during 2008. All have been optimized in Photoshop and a few were (slightly) manipulated. These photos were selected simply because I like them a bit better than the others. I hope you will like them too.

FastStone Image Viewer
For several months I've been urging club members to download and install FastStone Image Viewer on their computers (current version is 3.6). This is the same image viewer that we currently use to show images at monthly club meetings. As you can see from the description below, FastStone Image Viewer is extremely versatile and easy to use. It also has tools that will make it easier for everyone to downsize and email their images in advance of monthy photo club meetings. So please give FastStone 3.6 a try. I'm sure you will quickly come to realize just how good it really is. To make it easy for everyone, provided below is the link to the FastStone web site. Click on it, then download FastStone Image Viewer 3.6 and begin enjoying everything that it

Club Meeting
Gainesville Photography Club will meet a 7 PM, Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Civitan Regional Blood Center, 1221 NW 13th Street. There will be a business meeting to elect new club officers for 2009. Fred has agreed to run again this year, Tila will be Treasurer again and Peggy has volunteered to serve as Program Chairperson. Though he is not with us (for now), Brian will continue to serve as Webmaster. We need to elect a President, Vice President, and Secretary. Phil would prefer to not run again. No doubt, the incoming President will take up new business before we show pictures. One item of business will be the purchase of a laptop computer for the club.
