December Club Meeting and Holiday Party

The third Monday of each month Gainesville Photography Club meets at the Civitan Regional Blood Center at 7 PM. Guests are welcome at our meetings and can bring a few of their best photos on a flash drive. We meet on the second floor in the NE corner of the building. December is our End-of-Year meeting which is a bit different than usual. DINNER: For this meeting on Monday evening, Dec. 2,1 we will meet a 6 PM (NOT 7 PM) for a casual holiday dinner and conversation. Please bring a side dish and/or dessert. The club will furnish a meat platter and drinks. Please contact gainesvillephotoclub@gmail.com to let us know if you are planning to attend and what side dish you will bring. Significant others are welcome.

PICTURES: Our End-of-Year meeting features "Slide Show" as a theme. Bring a slide show of whatever - your best from 2009, new images, a slideshow of a favorite subject, or images from your vaction. You may also show individual pictures -- bring about 10 to 12 of your best stuff. Slideshows should be limited to about 10 minutes. Narrated shows always run long! Try them at home so you are sure to meet the time constraint. The files generated by slide shows with music are too large to email, so bring them on a flash drive (preferred) or a CD. Now, let's have another bang-up End-of-Year party.
