Links to Photoshop Elements Tutorials & Goodies

I am posting a couple links you may find helpful if you are using Photoshop Elements. It is pretty staight forward so you will have no trouble following this tutorial.

The second link addresses the use of smart filters, vector drawing, paths, masks and more. The features I refer to are NOT normally available in Elements so if you would like to know more I suggest you take a look at http://www.graphic-design.com/design/graphic-design/elements-plus-filter... .

Actually, I lied. I have a third link for you at http://www.graphic-design.com/ . If you sign up for their newletter you will get monthly updates with lots of links to Photoshop goodies and tutorials. They are not all free goodies but the tutorials are.

By the way, in case you have not already heard Photoshop Elements 8 is out. There are significant improvements in the Camera Raw processor. If you are using Elements 7, you can download a new Camera Raw from Adobe that has many new features as well.

Photoshop Premiere 8 is also out and both programs can be purchased for (street) $150. Premiere is used to edit movies. Movie making is rapidly becoming an integral part of the new DSLR cameras. For example, the Canon TI can take 1920 x 720p (pixels) movies at a 24 fps frame rate. Show these on your HDTV and they will look great.
